This album was made in 2022 – 23. During that year, my mother battled cancer and passed away quite quickly from it. Some of these songs are reflections upon that time.
The album title, “Johnny Winnipeg Strikes Again,” is based on a conversation with my children about my middle name. When I told them it was John, they laughed and laughed and said, “Who is even named John?”
